Il settecentesco palazzo di corso Umberto, a pochi passi dal sempre suggestivo Wunderbar, fu la dimora dell’archeologo Biagio de Spuches che, elettolo anche a sede della sua collezione privata, lo corredò anche di alcune colonne provenienti dal Teatro Greco e che sono ancora oggi visibili sia nei due portali di corso Umberto che all’interno, e che ne determinarono il primo vincolo da parte della Soprintendenza nel 1911.

The eighteenth-century palace of Corso Umberto, close to the always charming Wunderbar, was the home of the archaeologist Blaise de Spuches that elettolo also established his private collection, it also equipped some columns from the Greek Theatre and are still visible both in the two portals of Corso Umberto and inside, and determines the first entry by the Superintendent in 1911.

An elegant conservatory leads the Guests into the Hotel and to the lounge bar, where they can receive a welcome with no equal.

Varcando la soglia, spazi molteplici e sorprendenti. Estese su due livelli, le nostre suites si dividono in zona notte e zona giorno. L’attento studio degli spazi interni ha fatto si che ambienti separati si trovassero qui racchiusi in un tutt’uno armonico, estesi su più livelli ma uniti da morbide silhouette.

Crossing the threshold, many different sided and surprising spaces. Arranged in two levels, our suites are divided into a living room and a bedroom. The accurate care for interiors spaces made the harmony of two separeted spaces merged together possible, so the spaces are arranged in two different levels but combined by a soft silhouettes.
